Aubameyang close to Man City move

Reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio broke some huge news surrounding the future of Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Tuesday evening.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are “getting close” to completing the signing of the 26-year-old Gabonese striker, with talks between the three parties ongoing.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is considered one of the top strikers in Europe following a superb goalscoring season in which he netted 39 times for Borussia Dortmund.
Former Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was clearly impressed by the Bundesliga star and wants to make Aubameyang his second Manchester City signing from Borussia Dortmund, following Ilkay Gundogan’s recent arrival.

The ripple effects

With Sergio Aguero surely going nowhere, you’ve got to wonder what this would mean for Manchester City wonderkid Kelechi Iheanacho.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony will surely be disposed of this summer following a woeful 18 month spell at the Etihad.
A front line of Sergio Aguero supported by Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is enough to give Premier League defenders nightmares
